Nisargopachar Kendra (Nature Cure Center), Gotri is located at the west end of Vadodara, the cultural city of Gujarat. The center is spread across three acres of land, amidst lush green foliage, adorned by aromatic plants and herbs and the pleasant call of a multitude of birds. The serene surroundings and the pure air and water in the Ashram make it especially conducive for the kind of treatment it offers for rejuvenating health.
The center was established in 1978 by “Vadodara Jilla Sarvodaya Mandal”, a registered charitable trust with a wide range of social and socio-economical activities in the region. The trust was closely associated with Shri Vinoba Bhave in his well-known Bhoodan movement and its activities are inspired by ideology of Mahatma Gandhi - Vinoba Bhave - Jayprakash Narayan.
We believe that physical, psychological and even spiritual elements can all contribute to positive health and disease treatment, and hence our treatment program includes body detoxification program by various treatments, diet, stress management techniques, counseling and Yoga. The center has treated thousands of patients from all over the country and abroad and has contributed significantly in promoting a healthy life-style. The center also holds many events to increase awareness about Naturopathy, so that people can make healthier choices in the future.
